July 17 — Delivered an invited talk on Alloy design for Laser cladding - Compositionally Complex Alloys in the workshop on “Laser Cladding for TSL Applications”, Tata Steel, Jamshedpur.
April 10 — Delivered an online invited talk on Severe Plastic Deformation and Superplastic Behavior of High Entropy Alloys in the short-term course “High Entropy Alloys: A Paradigm Shift in Materials Engineering”, NIT Rourkela.
March 24 — Delivered an online invited talk on Microstructure Evolution and Tensile Behavior of Additively Manufactured Cantor Alloy in the MMTTP 12-Day Refresher Course on “Processing–Structure–Property Relationships in Advanced Engineering Materials”, IIT Mandi.
March 9–13 — Participated in the Nurturing Future Leadership Program under the Malviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, IIM Indore.
February 26–28 — Delivered an invited talk on Additively Manufactured Cantor Alloy: Processing, Microstructure, and Tensile Performance at the International Conference on Additive Manufacturing and Characterization, IIT Madras.
February — Paper titled “Microstructural Evolution and Mechanical Behavior of Resistance Spot Welded CoCrFeMnNi High-Entropy Alloy: Experimental and Simulation Insights” accepted for publication in Materials Science & Engineering A.

August — Book chapter “How Does Powder Metallurgy Facilitate the Preparation of Intermetallics and High-Entropy Alloys?” (with Dr. Niraj Chawake, IIT Kanpur) published by ASM International.
August — Kamal Bahadur Yadav joined the research group as Senior Research Fellow.
April — Tata Steel collaboration on laser cladding of complex concentrated alloys finalized (₹37.2 lakh project).
March — DRDO DIA-COE proposal approved (₹110 lakh project) on additive manufacturing of high-performance alloys.
February — Gulab Chand Gupta discontinued from the research group.
January — Saurabh Rai joined the research group for his M.Tech project.
January 15 — Appointed Editorial Committee Member of Metals and Materials International (Springer) for the 2024 term.
